I recently enjoyed a four-night stay at Hibiscus House B&B on Isla Contadora, and I want to share my thoughts on the value and amenities offered. Upon arrival, we were graciously met by Alan, who provided a helpful tour of the island. Our triple room was spacious and furnished with comfortable beds and effective air conditioning—essential features in the tropical heat. Daily breakfast was included, featuring fresh fruits and homemade yogurt, which made for a pleasant start to our mornings. The managers, Nicola and Alan, were always available, offering assistance with everything from dining recommendations to organizing rental cars, which provided good value considering the island's limited transport options. Hibiscus House delivers a practical balance of comfort and affordability, with clean rooms and access to various activities such as snorkeling and diving. It's a solid choice for travelers seeking an active getaway without overspending.
